About The Lighthouse
Baby Shelter |
The LIGHT HOUSE Baby Shelter was founded |
by
Eleanor Dustan on the 8th of June 2008. |
This is a project that God
laid in her heart |
many
years ago and in recent years has been |
in
the forefront of her mind |
The
LIGHT HOUSE Baby Shelter is run by
Eleanor
& her daughter Wanita, together
with |
other staff members who are
all dedicated |
to
the same calling |
The
LIGHT HOUSE Baby Shelter provides a |
safe
haven for all abandoned babies/children |
some
of whom have been found in squatter |
camps, on pavements and
in rubbish bins. |
Just to name a few places in
which these little |
innocent
souls are left |
We
have a facility whereby the unwanted |
babies can be left in
our Moses Basket, which |
is a hole in the wall
at 48 Drysdale Road in |
Sundowner, Randburg |
The reason that we
dedicated our lives to |
this cause is that
these innocent little souls |
did not ask to be here.
They are the future |
and we hope to make a
difference in of their |
lives with God's help,
wisdom and guidance |
Our mission is to make
a difference in a |
country burdened with
orphans & abandoned |
babies due to aids and
poverty. Even if we |
alleviate the smallest
percentage, it is all |
worth while. As well as
spreading the Gospel |
of Jesus Christ through this
ministry |
The Bible says what you
sow you will reap. |
Sow a good seed and reap a
bountiful harvest |
God Bless from all at
